Is there a charge for vendors?

No. We feel that charging vendors puts up barriers to participation that can lock out firms from engaging in the solicitation process. We do not and will never charge vendors for their activity on Bid Locker.

Can we use this with our existing platform/ERP/financial system?

Yes! Bid Locker’s Secure Lock Box is built to integrate seamlessly with your primary source for solicitation information. We’ve built our platform to fit with your workflow, not replace it. We provide an API that can integrate with any existing platform. We also have a variety of options for integrating with outside systems, including websites and financial systems.

Do you offer customer support to vendors and agency staff?

Yes, we have a US-based support line which you and your vendors can use to ask questions via phone or email. We also have a training library and user guide for both vendors and agency staffers.

Can vendors find our solicitations and receive notifications even if they’re not in our vendor database?

Yes. We give vendors a variety of tools to manage their notifications and stay on top of their participation in public purchasing.

We have a complicated purchasing workflow. Can you support an unusual workflow?

Yes. Bid Locker is highly customizable out of the box, and we are always happy to work with our agency customers to adapt Bid Locker for their specific needs.

How do you ensure our data security?

We take the security of your bid data very seriously. Our workstation encrypts every document submitted to Bid Locker. Additionally, our database uses encryption-at-rest technology to further protect your bid information. Only you and the vendor who submitted it can access it.

We have a complicated purchasing workflow. Can you support an unusual workflow?

Yes. Bid Locker is highly customizable out of the box, and we are always happy to work with our agency customers to adapt Bid Locker for their specific needs.

Can we export our data?

Yes. At any time, you can download an archive of your submitted bid documents and data as needed, e.g. in the case of protests or audits. You can also download your registered vendor information at any time.

If we migrate to another platform, how long will you store our data?

We will store all of your bid data for as long as you are actively using Bid Locker. If you decide to migrate to another platform, we will continue storing it for two years after your last day of use.

Can vendors find our solicitations and receive notifications even if they’re not in our vendor database?

Yes. We give vendors a variety of tools to manage their notifications and stay on top of their participation in public purchasing.
