We believe that charging vendors to submit bids to solicitations creates barriers to entry for small and disadvantaged businesses. Government contracting work should be as open and accessible as possible to vendors, and when our competitors charge them just to view and submit bids, it limits the size of the vendor pool and ends up costing government agencies in the long run.
We strive to be an ethical software company in all we do, and we hope to set a new standard in the industry. We do not hard-sell or up-sell you, because we look at agencies as collaborative partners rather than sources to profit off taxpayer dollars. Our price is straightforward so you can budget, and we have no hidden fees whatsoever. We also don’t engage in shady business practices such as data-mining or hiding dark patterns in our software.
We support full data transparency and ownership, for good governance and transparency. You own your data, and we will never sell it. We provide open records under the Open Procurement Standard, and you can use it for free at any time for the purposes of transparency, good governance, and general record-keeping. Some of our competitors charge agencies to export your own data – enough to fill a few potholes!
We believe that when private equity takes over a business, it degrades the customer experience and quality of the service in order to extract profits. We are not here to exploit taxpayer dollars – we’re here to help agencies improve their procurement processes and deliver a quality product.
